Goodbye

Goodbye

A Poem by a schizophrenic writer

He kissed his dreams goodbye
with nothing more than an empty sigh.
He threw his life away
and with nothing to say
he put a gun to his head,
but he was already dead.
Nothing could convince him to stay,
he was already on his way.
He knew this was his last day.

Monumentally sad words. The emotional impact is strong. I hope this is only a poem and that you are not experiencing these feelings. Lydi**
