It's so clear it's not there

These grey skies

I've had enough of these silent lies
Boy, silence those cries

It's a simple distraction
My dark minded abstraction
Reality's desperate redaction
Was this real
No
Or just imagined

It's so clear it won't be there

I've been scratching at the surface
Trying for a world
A world i could never purchase

This faded photographic memory
It no longer means that much to me
