A mortal heaven

A mortal heaven

A Poem by Sophia
"

Another love poem. Sort of.

"
The moon spills a cataract
into our hearts
stone hands split the mountains
we fall from empyrean as the
trees ascend to the heavens
you grab my face and we spill into
each other's souls like ink on
paper
I'm feeling a change in the world
and a monsoon pours into the caves
hushing the mourning of the earth
as we filled it with chaotic wonder

Author's Note

Sophia
Is it too cheesy?
Do you think I should tone it down a little bit?
Do you feel the idea is laid across nicely?
