My Island

My Island

A Poem by Geist

I tasted your soul as the poisons flowed

I cried for you

I saw the wings of a million angels shatter

Broken to glass they covered me

A sea of shards pierced my flesh

I saw your eyes

They raped me with guilt

The sun and the stars shone

You lifted them away

I screamed out your name

You faded to dust

I laid covered in worms

They buried it all

You were so gone

And I was the one who fell away

" I saw your eyes they raped me with guilt" mmmm.....I'm fixated on your words. Your imagery is awesome , I d'ont say this about anyone. Morbid , dark and beautiful.
