He takes her by the hand

Walking with her 

helping her understand this brave new world

He will always be there

holding her hand 

In a time of need

In a tale so true 

He will always be there

Holding her hand

Helping her to understand

There are places she shouldn't go

Places that are ok or bad

He will hold her hand tight 

As she cries and wants to die

There will always be a bond so strong

in those two hands 

One day she will let go of his hand

Standing on her own 

Making her own way, walking her own path

But he will always be there close by

Watching from a far he will always bring her flowers

Make her laugh

He'll get her into trouble for sure

But he will always be there

Aw, cute! I love it makes me happy and what a cute picture you used. Yeah I think the world needs more people like this, but you know how people raise their kids is they're choice sometimes they screw up their kids so bad nothing can fix them.

Well, To be honest, i wasn't quite happy about the last line but that is the Artistic freedom that you deserve in your own piece :-) Well written. Can imagine those "He's" who stand by the side. But in my opinion, the guy could be one who pulls one back up into the lights and dims of the world.
