Smiles Across Your Face

Smiles Across Your Face

A Poem by Michael G. Smith
"

My wife's sunrise smile

"

Droplets dew settle sweet
Upon a flower
 gentle sway

Cricket's empathy to the nightress sings

Symphonies which chorus soon negates

Darkness surrenders into full retreat
Withdraws shadow from woodland's bush
and glade
To a new found dawn; rhapsody with fresh wet paints
Lending more to 'tis morning's coming grace

Sky red; a mistress blush
A rising star blowing warm kisses feint
Beams and winks and such
Sets felicity up, atop this unveiling stage

But yet, a greater anticipation awaits
Than the dawn out yonder which heaven breaks
As the sunrise pales in comparison to the brighter
Summer smile now waking rapture across your face

Oh this should win you some big points with the missus Mike, very luverly, especially love...

Invites felicity upon the stage grandeur of the coming day

What a grand thought, nicely pen'd.

I've won so many points I'm years ahead. Now it's her turn.
