Not All White Men

Not All White Men

A Poem by Michael G. Smith
"

Thoughts upon the settling of the west

"
You circumcised our land
Left it for naught
Was that the plan to every white men
Genocide for pleasure gain
Not merely blemish cross a prairie plain
But through a mountain stain
Why did you never try understanding
Exactly what it is you did
All in the name of your god
Without a vast ocean put in your way
You would have never stopped
