my drug

my drug

A Poem by victoria

cutting is my drug
all i really need is a hug
ya so i slit my arm
i don't think of it as self-harm
cutting helps me
if you cut you would agree
it erases all my sadness
thats all i have to confess

I really do like this poem. Yes, I know your going through a lot, but I don't believe you need help. Believe in yourself, and you will get over it. I believe in you!

i will. :)
I really like the rhyme scheme. But this poem is depressing and I hope this is not happening to you. No one deserves to go through that. Stay strong hun

I read some of your other poems and I think you should call a crisis hotline. I've been in dark places before, and counselors and therapy have helped me. Talk to someone you trust, face to face. I wish I could help you more, but I'm a faceless person on the Internet. I don't know your situation, I only know what has worked for me. Try writing more. Your poetry shows promise, but the subject matter is very worrying.
Sending you Internet hugs!
