i was just listening to a song and just started writing so im just posting it here till i do something with it

Not trying to be who you want me to be

Shallow and uncaring

Emotion locked away

 

What is it you want from me?

You’re on my case when I say I'm alone

When I say I'm tired of it all

Just looking for support

I get turned down

Turned off

Hidden away in the dark corners of your life

I just want to see the light

To feel the sun warm and fresh upon my face

To laugh, to smile

To feel that freedom

That I had when I was so young

But it's all gone now

It's been hidden from me

Locked away

Someone has the key

I'll keep looking

If I don’t I will not make it somewhere out there

Someone is waiting for the real me
