A choice

A choice

A Poem by Seraph
"

For a friend of mine.

"
I kissed the devil while dancing with stars,
A temptation of lust for a beautiful liar.
If I only I knew what choice to make,
I wouldn't have made such a beautiful mistake.

Touch so beautiful but surely impure,
Captivating....Enchanting....a fairly dangerous allure.
What was I thinking when I left my heart to choose,
Between a ghastly grave and the devil's bedroom.

His kiss is beyond what I have ever known,
Tossing and turning.....he left me to groan.
I needed to get rid of his emotionless curse,
I needed a saviour that was far above earth.

Like a falling star he came into my life,
His smile so radiant...so beautifully right.
His touch moves mountains in my world,
But there's something missing and I know it hurts.

He can give me love....he can give me a life,
One with emotion...one without fights.
I can stand in the distance and yell out his name,
And god himself knows I won't be left in pain.

But to throw a kiss and never look back,
Is impossible....unfair and feels like a heart attack.
The devil does not accept such innocent devil,
He may even go as far as down on one knee.

So now I'm stuck.....I have no where to go,
Without bumping into a wall of snow.
Should I choose the hero.....an angel in disguise,
Or a tempting lust for the devil of my life.
