What If

pov: two lovers standing at the edge of a tower, sharing a sunset, exchanging looks that speaks volumes without words

We stood up high, looked down.
Said, "What if?" locked eyes, no sound.
Just held hands, at the edge.
Felt the drop, beneath our feet.
Didn't jump, just thought we might.
Shared a scare, in dying light.

An interesting poem...the thought of "what if"...
You can almost imagine this as a mini screen shot....with two actors in a scene from a movie..

Love is apt to add some fear to its hearth if only to add some danger for both people to pause, think and wonder. Perhaps? That pause at the very moment when you might fall into a situation with another person and what might be the outcome. Some would walk away BUT others would consider that it is better to have loved than.. never to have loved at all..

Woahhh. Well thats powerful... I have no idea why but this reminded me Life Is Strange game. There was a cliff in that game, and storms... maybe for that. But this poem is wayyy powerful even in such less words.

I wish i could understand the game reference but sadly i haven't heard of that particular game before
