Ashes Of Love

Ashes Of Love

A Poem by passionberry
"

Broke me from the inside would do anything for this man and he left me standing alone shared something so special that is ignored.

"

When you look into my soul
Of such broken treasures
There was once a treasure box
That held the most important jewel
Of all
(you)
You washed all them dreams
Out to shore
With no letter of why
These dreams will never
Become reality
Just a mere thought
Of once could have been
My promises to you
Never was beyond
Words tide with lace
Nothing could ever turn me
Into such a bitter soul
Salty tears down my face
No repairing something so charred
The open door
that once stayed open through
All storms has now closed
And sealed and to never reopen
Sealed inside these wounds
Is now tart
As unbidden fruit.
