Day Passing By

A Poem by Sabrina

As dawn creeps through my window.
Birds tweet near and far.
Sweet sunshine and freedom,
brings the breakfast bar.

Mid-Day and the lunch is here.
Picnic with family.
Blanket spread we soon will soar.
Cookies are our treat.

Afternoon brings us snacking.
Food and sweets galore.
Snacking is a sweet pleasure.
I just want some more.

Evening is time for dinner.
Steak is for main course.
Potatoes and Vegetables.
Now what's for dessert.

Night time brings the starlight out.
Watch them gleam and shine.
We crawl under the covers,
wait for morning shine.
