Wings

Wings

A Poem by Gem
"

Another poem for another friend...

"

Feathered wings, soaring high.
Cutting through a cloud filled sky
Letting sunlight break it's way through.
Down to the Earth and to me and you.

Keeping me sane and out of trouble,
Yet in mischief you still form my double.
Invincible together and when apart,
You are the strongest part of my heart.
