The water was burning while the trees were learning to grow
The mountains were sinking and the rocks were covered in snow
We were flying in to come and join the show
And everybody everywhere came and saw the last thing they'd ever know
Oh, the roots were dying and the ground was lifting off
The whole goddamn place flew up up and away into the sky

And there's no way down now from here
As gravity fails on the sphere
And time has no meaning where there's no sun or moon
Everyone was stuck here singing our favorite tune

Floating around, no sense of gravity
Everybody find a partner as long as it's not me
Please pairs of twos, it's bad for us to have three
Now have some fun while it lasts, I'm sure you can agree
Even if you hate it put on a happy face and go with the flow
Most likely it just won't work out in the end

The foundation began rocking and pieces started falling apart
The whole f*****g place started breaking like a heart
And everyone and everything fell down down down

As gravity came back and the partners tried to hold on
But it all crumbled down and nothing was left to grab on to
