Tumbling Silence

Tumbling Silence

A Poem by ShahW1
"

PROMPT: “Silence“

"

n

Tumbling like a tear,

it tears away at the visceral

climbs into the temporal

glares beyond dark spaces

behind beholden eyes

…our hiding places.

*

Even when we accept

it will not be ignored, nor rest

A soldier and a saviour -

it's sword surrounds us.

It's permanent purpose

climbs over culminations of

time and tension,

 waiting and wanting

hurrying to be heard,

silent, serious,

ready.

*

It must be,

and it will be

heard, regardless.

*
