Going home after being gone for so long.

Never did I want to come back to you.

little old state of Wisconsin.

 

Too many people,

I once knew.

Too many painfull memories.

 

A new apartment,

roomate and Job,

Cannot change the way I feel.

 

Watching my back,

for familiar faces.

Knowing I no longer belong.

 

It's only for a little while.

This detour in my journey.

 

However the toll it shall take

on my mental stability,

is unsure at this point in time.

 

I will make the best of this.

Go the college and work.

 

It is the preping before the Cooking,

The pep talk before the Game.

The first step on my stair case to starting over.

 

This very necessary part of my life,

as painful as it will be,

can make me stronger.

 

I will face my past head on.

Stand in the face of danger.

Pee into the wind.

 

Even though I never wanted to go back in the first place.
