Winter

Winter

A Poem by shannonrosiej
"

Last week in my poetry class we learnt about haikus so here is one I wrote about winter.

"

 Trudging through thick snow
Warm bodies sit together
Bare trees stand alone

Nice descriptions, and very realistic imagery. Its difficult to get the message across in haikus and other such short pieces of writing, as there's not much room for elaborate descriptions, but you have done a good job despite the constraints. Well done!

Consider writing a winter haiku without snow, without bare trees, without cold. Write a personal poem that only you could write. Find your winter truth and make us feel it.
