overloaded

A Story by Shannon

Her mind reveled in hostile memories, memories she did not wish to revise. They
were all she had. Her mind was overloaded with ferocious guilt and shame that
could last her eternity. A lifetime was infinite and the girl could not escape
her past. A past filled with unfortunate misconceptions and fear.  No one knew
how weak she was, no one saw her pain.
