Familiar Air, Familiar Hope

Familiar Air, Familiar Hope

A Poem by Shayna
"

I don't know if I like it or not. Written: May 2008.

"

A familiar breath,
That haunting sound of life escaping from
Willing lips, past eager tongues.
Just for you, all of it for you.

It's what you thrive on, feed on.
Blinded fools awaiting command, waiting to live and breathe,
All to sustain your vampiric tendencies.

I hope he holds his breathe,
Just one time.

Say goodbye to robots.
Say goodbye to "love."

About
Ever since I was a kid, I loved two things: reading and writing. I read as much as I could and wrote stories that generally weren't good. As I got older, though, I got better and soon learned to write.. more..
