SILENT SCREAM

A teen on the ropes.

 

                                             

Still stuck at 16,

 with no vision and impulse

     Only nostalgia with a touch of amend and repulse

       Everythin' was hunky dory, now in a slump

     Green eyed with uncanny feelings to dump.

Its a common block at certain stages of all of our lives ,isnt it ? Sometimes when we are just coming of age or midlife or just a starting trouble for a new venture. As we walk the path eventually clears out my dear. To keep continuing is the clue perhaps. Sweet 16 can be full of drama and setbacks though, magical and also disillusioned, emotionally conflicted. Move forward my dear and seize the day. The whole life is remaining ahead to course correct or stay put whatever you decide. I enjoyed the rhyme and carefree attitude you are just coming out of in the poem with. Never again does it feel life is just yours. Rest afterwards life is always going to be with someone or for someone. So enjoy being the leader or enjoyer of your life now without any jealosy or slump.
