Another moving day, another heart i hate to take

Another moving day, another heart i hate to take

A Poem by Seth
"

This poem is about myself over and over again and how when im ready to be in a relationship i move

"

My heart grows heavy when I see you face,
My eyes tear up when they speak your name,
My head is pounding for what I have to do,
I am not proud for leaving you.
We do not speak but mostly stare,
Your diamond blue eyes speak your words,
All I can do is retrieve what’s heard,
Then I close my eyes to hide what’s in there.
Because if you stare,
Pain will come in,
I know I shouldn’t keep what I feel within,
I know I should be able to talk to you,
But it’s senseless to cry over you.
Burden fills my heart with sorrow,
Making my heart feel empty and hallow,
All I can do is wish you well,
I will need to forget you,
And you as well.
For what I have to do is something I hate,
Moving again from state to state,
I know this feeling like my name,
Everyday is another game.
Moving day is slowly approaching,
To say goodbye is now nothing,
To a new state I will be coming,
Fifteen times,
I’m done counting.

This is a really great poem. It shows amazing depth and emotion. I love how it was so easy to fall into the shoes of the narrator and feel the same emotions. My favortie part of your writing is how you break up the poem with short sentances. It packs a nice little punch. The only thing that needs to be looked at is on the first sentance you wrote 'you' and I think its supposed to be 'your'. That's just a little thing though. I really enjoyed this, and I look forward to reading more of your work. Do you use personal experiances when writing or find inspiration from other areas? A comination of both? Wherever you get it, keep up the good work!
