Young 'til Old

Young 'til Old

A Poem by Connor

Every sea, and all the lands
will be the highway of my darling.
Every star, and every starling,
will bring daylight to her hands.
Tides, and tidal waves, fall
to the gravity of her flowing hair.
Glowing sunbeams, and whispering streams,
sing through her soft words.
Every smile shall be seen,
and every syllable heard.
From mountains swirling gusts,
blow snow white designs
beneath the shine of her skin,
blushing red as wine,
to the rhythm of sin.
Day to day, and night to night,
we will break down the levees,
bursting with hurricane passions,
beneath cloud white sheets.
Twisted into fabric pleats and folds,
we will never leave, from young 'til old.
