Hold Me Until The Sun Goes Down

I cannot relate to this at all becuz' I am SO single *laughs and cries* BUT this is what I could imagine in an ideal relationship, and to everyone who has someone like this, cherish them.

If I stop loving you I will lose my mind:

Hold me,

Don't stop.

Love me,

don't stop.

Our fingers intertwine til' dawn and they twist til' dusk.

Do not push me away,

Do not make an excuse.

Let me love you like she never could.

I have no choice,

screaming,

I will lose my voice.

Do not make me say it again:

I love you, I love you, I love you.

Hold Me Until the Sun Retires:

Just like that,

It is time again.

Just like that,

our hands drift apart for the first time.

"Don't let me go"

You let me go.

Hold me, I say,

Hold me til' the sun goes away.

Do not give in to petty occupations of tomorrow-

Give in to the me of today.

I need you, 

I will not let you leave me.

I like your poem because it's filled with the exuberance of youth and its idea of love. Especially in this line of yours "Let me love you like she never could." When I was young I used to think just like that. I would love them better than their past loves. With age I find it's about loving them in a way that they feel they have never loved before you.
