Why Can't She See

blah! XD

He's holding her down

Screaming in rage

It's just another fight

On a theater stage

She holding back tears

Remaining strong

Forgetting what's important

Like where she belongs

He slaps her hard

Another bruise

Why can't she leave him

She's got nothing to lose

She takes it silently

Wishing her life would end

She doesn't love him

Why does she pretend

He get up and leaves

She's still on the floor

She mutters "I'm sorry"

I can't take it anymore

I want here in my arms

To keep her with me

But knowing how she acts

It will never be

I want to cry her name out

In this ringing air

I want to take away the pain

And make it as though he was never there

I wish i was him

So i could love her all day

Hold her in my heart

Where she will forever stay

Gritting my teeth

I watch her take it over again

I can't remember how long

This began

She's so beautiful

Why can't she see

That it shouldn't be him

It should be me
