Twisted Tree

Twisted Tree

A Poem by Panda
"

has a deeper meaning i guess but enjoy!!! :)

"
You must start at the roots
To actually kill a tree
They have their roots twisting
Deep underground as far as the eye can see

Above the soil
It stands beautiful to every eye
You’ll never see how far it’ll go
To make sure it doesn’t die

It takes and takes
But it will never return
The gift of life
Is a lesson it has to learn

Don’t be fooled by its appearance
It’s decaying at the core
And its apples are rotting
The tree can’t supply nutrients anymore

It breathes in the good
But will never spit them out
You’re theirs forever
That’s what I tried warning you about

Be strong enough
To see beyond the mask in which they fake
Don’t let them have an influence
On the choices that you make

You are the oxygen
You bring life to many things
You’re like a soaring eagle
So be courageous and spread your wings
