Love’s Bottomless Sea

Love’s Bottomless Sea

A Poem by Panda
"

:D

"

Slowly dip my head underwater

Let the soundless world take my fear away

Push me in a little deeper

I don’t want to breathe today

It seems like the deeper I go

The colder it starts to get

My body is starting to ache for air

But I don’t want to come up yet

Hold me a little tighter

As the bubbles escape my lips

A cry that cannot be heard

From my mouth it slowly slips

Drowning in the darkness of greed

It locks me in it freezing arms

I continue to sink with increasing speed

Believing I won’t be harmed

Gripping tighter to you

We both refuse to part

Your chains of faulty desire

Are suffocating my heart

The light I once saw

I can no longer see

Tears become one with this ocean

This love will be the death of me
