Goveners Charade

satire

tell all officers stand to attention
governors on the way
the great old bull sullivan
is doin the rounds himself today
put down that mornin paper
put them feet back on the floor
you dont want to be horizontal
when he comes thru that door
theres too many in the office
send two out into the rec
wake up mr. cotter gently
or hel jump and break his neck
send o reily down the landing
make sure theres noone out on there back
remember what happened last time
when he caught murphy on the crack
no officer best be smoking
keep miss flynn away from the phone
but most importantly of all
dont let him read this poem
