Sea TailorA Poem by C.R.Turner
I am a sea tailor,
binding the heavy oceans with a silver gossamer thread; a sun sailor, skimming the surface fires, riding the flares of change; A black diver, exploring the crushing deeps of the hidden psyche; A free radical, in vacuum suspension - insulated from the noise of friendship. I walk an impossible path - illadvised, illogical and uncertain. I tread these pantomime boards like an awkward amateur. Exposed. Face-palmed. Without security, without certainty, without popularity. Why do I do this? Some vain heroism? Religious conviction? Illness? Idiocy? No. I don't even possess that luxury of choice. What is blindingly certain to me, is certainly blind to most. But I won't rest until you see, Just how awesome this world could be, if we just made everything free!! [Sound crazy? Google: Let's Make Everything Free]
