What can I do to show you
that you still have my heart after all this time?
What can I do for you to notice that my hearts beats for you?
That I still love you cause I still do.
But why is that? 
Why can't I let you go when all you do now is bring me pain.
Why can't I let it go?
These were the questions
I always ask and now I know the answer to it.
You see it was simple. 
I was young and dumb and in love.
You broke me. You tore me down.
But now I am older and even if by a few years.
Feelings change and I know mine had. 
You can come back into my life 
now and tell me you love me
but I'll never believe you.
Love was always hard for me 
and now it's impossible thanks to you.
You took my fragile heart and broke it.
Now the thing that replaces it doesn't love.
I was young and dumb and now I'm jaded and guarded thanks to you.
