A Blank Page

A Blank Page

A Poem by Silver Artemis
"

Coming and going. Beginning and ending.

"

A blank page.

A blank canvas.

A blank slate.

I was not born into a middle-class family.

I was not raise by both of my parents.

I am less than average.

Or so I've been told.

But look at me again.

Observe me.

I am not doing drugs

nor am I selling them.

I am not part of a gang

nor do I wish to be.

I have graduated from both school

and my bad upbringing.

So I may not be Perfect.

I'm Perfectly Average.

None of that matters.

I will deteriorate

back to nothing.

A blank slate.

A blank canvas.

A blank page.
