Nirvana

Nirvana

A Poem by Justin Tobey
"

My description of Nirvana...

"

Through golden sand and silver mist

And woes of mortal birth,

There lies a land where sunbeams twist,

The heaven of the earth.

With crystal cities held on high

That float through diamond tears,

It shifts its doorways through the sky

To lands where darkness clears.

Like waterfalls through time and space,

The Gateways twist and fall.

Their passengers float into grace

Past evil's lurking call.

They close their ears to songs of ill

And fade to blissful peace,

Unleashing shifting paths of light

To end the songs' increase.

Within the great Nirvana's hold,

They learn the Truth of Flight.

They gain the peace of love's embrace,

Emissaries of Light.

Well done structured verse with natural rhyme. Enjoyed this look at Nirvana, a place "where all the barrel hoops are knit," the reconciliation of opposites.

This is a hidden gem here, Justin, this has to shine.

All aspects in this piece are amazing, and the way you have pieced them together is amazing as well. Everything from choice of words, imagery, message imparted, are all top notch.

A wonderful piece.
