Magic Darkness

Magic Darkness

A Poem by Silvia - Scribo, Ergo Sum!
"

... sometimes I DO seek that darkness. And sometimes it heals.

At times, I seek the Darkness;
As a hunted fox might seek the refuge of his borrow,
to lick my wounds alone, unnoticed and unharmed ....

At times, I seek the Solitude;
As the last forlorn child of a perished tribe,
Unable to bond with any from another,
Unable to belong .

Darkness is the cloak I pull around my shoulders,
Solitude my shield,
Silence my sword ...

And yet -
I feel like a fallen fairy with a torn-off wing,
Tumbled from enchanted, sparkling skies
Down into a bleak and disenchanted night ....

Magic, my magic can but return to me with you ...
Then I will grow that other wing again
and fly ...
