Be afraid!
Oh, be VERY afraid!
Seems you forgot,
Seems you no longer fear my wroth.
My temples are deserted,
My altars empty,
My lofty statues gaze no more at your reverently upturned faces ...

You .... ignorant fools
Put yourselves above the wonders of creation!
You rape and pillage, burn and ravage,
You take without as much as by your leave
As if it all were YOURS
As if YOU were gods and had no gods to answer to
- today or ever.

No more sacrifce.
No more gratitude.
No fear of retribution.
No prayers even.

No Faith!

You ignorant fools!
Did you really think that you could kill me just by NOT believing?
Or that you could become masters of Creation just BY believing it was so?

You, who never breathed the spark of life,
who never spat out stars,
pulverised galaxies to create another,
or stopped the trains of time ...

You, who are but a fleeting shadow on the sun,
a dew drop drying at my breath,
the dead beetle carried off by ants.

Take heed!
I am Shiva, dancing destruction in my fury;
I am Durga, slayer of demons and men;
I am Christ crucified,
I am the Mother, the Maid, the Crone;
Allah, Budhha, Jahwe - GOD -
the names, they mean a lot to You, but not to me.

I am the Alpha and the Omega,
darkness and light,
life and death,
victory and defeat,
I am the beginning of all things and - one day - their end.

And YOU?
I SHALL make you listen,
I SHALL make you pay - in this life or the next.

I told you: Be afraid! Be VERY afraid!
I have no hourglass, no years, no milleania to measure;
Eternity is but a breath to me.

So I shall NOT forget - ever.
