I loved this - and am moving it to my favorites folder, and I am extremely picky about what I flag as a favorite LOL. Great imagery and meter, it says a lot in a few words...

I really like the imagery you use. I really get a feel of the coldness and of the night and of the hunt. It's very descriptive and I really like it. It has a shadowy, cold haunting sort of feel to it. It flows well and I enjoyed reading your poem.
