This semester

With the conclusion of the school year, I decided to reflect on my past experiences.

This semester, I learned a lot about myself.

I learned that I need to put me before anyone else,

No matter the circumstance.

This semester, I realized I’m incredible.

The things that I have accomplished in my life

Is unbelievable.

This semester, I fought through a lot of battles,

But winning them is not the best outcome.

This semester, I confirmed my sexuality.

I’m bisexual.

This semester, I cemented the idea for my career.

Though the road to it will certainly be long,

It’s all I’ve ever wanted.

This semester, I realized I don’t have to always be tough.

It’s ok to be weak sometimes.

This summer, I hope to learn more things.

Because in this life, you’re always a student.
