That Day

That Day

A Poem by Vishal Singh

An event of life described,it is just thoughts,no reality.

I walked on the beach,

And there was a storm,

But thinking about you,

Kept me safe, kept me warm.

Last time I came here,

You were with me,

We made love on the sand,

And its witness was the sea.

In my hands I held your face,

You looked up into my eyes,

My lips rested on yours,

An angel smiled from the skies.

You remember the promises we made,

Of growing old together,

Hold on to our trust amidst mistrusts,

And never let go of each other.

But guess you found some fault in me,

Or perhaps it was our destiny,

That you choose never to look behind,

With me into the loneliness confined.

Hey, tahsin,
means a lot :)

You're heartedly welcome!
Relationships that start off strong, has us making all kinds of promises that we rarely keep, mostly because we don’t know who we ourselves are as of yet. Nice work
