The moon is full in the sky

Death besides me i still dont cry

A constant companion in these dark hours

A garden filled with poisoned flowers

 

I see the blood fill the streets

i see the pain, the empty treats

i smile bitterly at the world

i know my life will be unfurled

 

a light breaks through my grim guise

a hand reaches out, im paralyzed

a voice i trust calls my name

i shake my head, i'd be my bane

 

The light dims into night

i know the way i must take flight

i turn once more towards the door

I turn the key to make sure

 

the past which haunts me from the years

leaves me only bitter tears
