Please Be Kind

Please Be Kind

A Poem by Conor Mac

Have you ever wondered what it would be like
To see yourself through different eyes
To see yourself as others do
See if you can spot the lies

You cant see past the makeup
or my thick sunglasses
cant see my heart a breaking
just my flirty passes

If you could see what would u think
of the mess i call my head
would you help me clean it up?
or leave me here for dead

coz i need someone like you
to organise my mind
im leaving you my sanity
so please be kind

I like it, especially the subtle rhyme, but the message is good too; the whole idea of putting on a pretence .. Very good.
