Puzzle Pieces

A free form style poem written to express my frustrations and feelings of longing.

How cruel it is
To have found your soul mate
Her pattern a perfect fit
The puzzle solved, the creased sealed
Only to be ripped apart
Leaving both damaged, never the same

I can still feel her inside
I wonder if she feels me too
