Time after tim

Time after tim

A Poem by forbiddendreamer

Time after time
The tide gently hits the shore
Rising in and out
Wanting to reach the core

Feeling the pain
The distance from the door
Hearing your words
She was such a w***e

You wrapped yourself up in her arms
Wanting to just feel her touch
While she watched with pain in her eyes
Isn't that a bit too much?

Time after time
She slowly forgets
Only to live a life
Full of regrets

She wants to leave you
But she can't imagine it
Without you by her side
It hurts her inside, every little bit

She sits there and watches them from afar
Time after time
The pain seems to leave her
Gradually as she rhymes

She's hoping there will be no more
Time after time
