Strength

Strength

A Poem by Skylar Elizabeth
"

A girl who doesn't have enough strength to handle it anymore.

"
She walks home from another day of pure hell
She's been called every name in the book
Skank, S**t, Ugly, Fat, W***e
There was absolutely no one she could tell
She was giving up,
She just couldn't take it anymore
As she walked to the bathroom,
she stopped to search the medicine cabinet
Grabbing the pills, she ran up the stairs
She thought to herself, "No one cares."
One by one, dose by dose
The time was drawing near
The hour was getting close
Her time had come
She was ready to go.
That was the night the girl lost her strength.
And her family lost hope.

OMG, I love this. It's soooo sad, but really, really good. Well done!
