When the tsunami swept up over the land and the people drowned beneath the sea Were you there? When the explosion ripped our home land in two and the temples sank beneath the ocean Were you there? When the land shook beneath our feet and buildings tumbled into the street Were you there? When the world darkened beneath the ash cloud and winter went on and on for years Were you you there? When fair Atlantis drowned and millions died and a small fleet was all that were able to put out to sea Were you there? When we fled to Egypt and became teachers but most of the knowledge left this world Were you there? Did you cry?   Sharon Pribble
