![]() LonelinessA Poem by rach![]() A few thoughts for the evening.![]() My bed is still warm, it's as if you never left. But now your gone, and, loneliness is creeping in. Like the night does to day. It's slow and encompassing. You left like the sun sets, leaving me in the dark. What is it that scares me about loneliness? It’s as irrational as fear of the night sky. The feeling of loneliness can create such beauty, through the minds of those who experience it. I thought you were the cure to my loneliness, but as the moon is still visible during the day, the night, it never truly leaves us. Why am I scared of the dark, when it holds such beauty? Why do I tremble, when I find myself alone? I don’t want to be fearless, Give me the strength to endure the nights. Because loneliness may fill me with dread, but, if not for the absence of the sun how would we see the stars?
