Just Another Story

I laid my eyes on you
Had your eyes meet  mine
And at that very moment
The story then started
A magical feeling
So sweet, so charming
Like golden specks of dust

But you were never mine
That is absolute
Maybe we belong together
In another life and time
The story of us today
Is nothing like those fairy tales
Just another story I suppose
Another once upon a time
With no happy ending
