Gift of Love

Gift of Love

A Poem by Kathleen Burlas
"

"It's past midnight when I had a long late-night conversation on the phone with someone really special whom I thought had forgotten me already. HAHA. "

"
Ribbons of gold sparked when I heard your voice
Knowing you're there lights up my night
Softy you broke into my heart tonight
Like a broken song completing its tune
Unknowingly you made me smile
Spawned my heart to skip a beat in time
I calmed my voice and made an act
Scared to death that you might realize
Just how much your absence made me sad
Your words had this heart float
Melted those bricks formed by missing you
Being in touch with you again
Is no other than a wonderful gift of love from you
