             A SEA OF PERCEPTIONS

At first I was awed..

Such a roar I have never coped

Father invited, tempted

But on the shore I stood

With friends, adolescent

Study tour we went

Awe gave way to curiosity.

Sea presented a way to intensity.

Still it took time

To fall in a love same

As that between a sage and solitude

As that between a mother and her baby in nude

Life had gone too far

When we knew each other

A knowledge so rare…

That, one can never have other

One can never see other.

As…..

We were inseparable

We were not two cognizable

We had only one pair of eyes

A amazing poem. I had to read a few times. A mother and her daughter closeness is so difficult to describe. I like how you did it. A outstanding poem. Thank you.
