When reading this poem I noticed you've made quite a departure from your normal style. This is very abstract and as a result the interpretation is left very much to the reader. It's good for a writer to experiment and you seem to have tapped into a rich new vein.
To me this poem seems to be saying we spend much of our lives searching for "something". What that is never seems clear. You describe it as being something we live for, "once the whole mystery is solved, you are dead" or even a kind of self fulfilling prophecy, "to make a search worth searching". Whatever the reason for out life-long search you make it clear that searching is a fundamental part of our lives and an addiction that only the grave can cure.
What I particularly liked about this poem is the way that you finish with the suggestion that perhaps there is no heaven. This is an interesting idea as readers of a religious persuasion might question whether they really do need to search for it whilst those without such an inclination might read this in a more whimsical way, taking it as a statement of fact rather than a question.
Profound take on what life is really all about. What are we searching for? and how do we find it? more importantly, how do we know we've found it? I believe everyone has regrets when they know their facing death...but that's life. Great write

Seems we search so many times for something that is there in front of us.. again, we search and search and find nothing.. the nothing i would see as hell. The longing as you say would also be such hell .. this is certainly a thought provoking poem .. nice writing, Jeny.
Life is quite a riddle. As we navigate it we must realize that this is what it's all about. There are many forms of personal hell. Regret is one of them. Nice and coherent yet thought -provoking.
I agree with you, the search is the exciting part of the journey. And to realize what the search should be about and focus on that is the key to fulfillment in this life. I came to the belief system years ago that we do not know everything in heaven automatically, how boring would that be! i think we continue to learn for eternity. never thought about hell though, if you believe in it, do you hold that learning stops there? Perhaps it doesn"t, but hell would be full of regrets....how horrible, and your poem captures that perfectly.
