You and Me

You and Me

A Poem by PerpetuallyJune
"

a poem about loving somebody

"
If you are the sun, I'll bask in your glow
If you are the clouds, then I'll hope for snow
When you're far away you'll be in my head
You'll float around in my dreams instead

If you are the sky, then I'll be the sea
If you are the rain, you'll fall onto me
When you're lost I'll hold you close
You can wander the shores of my coast

If you are a dream, then I'll be the night
If you are the darkness, I'll turn on the light
When we're apart I'll stand on the porch
You'll come home to me holding a torch

If you are patience, I'll be the passing time
If you are a virtue, I will commit no crimes
And we'll be together again
Somewhere and somewhen.
