Seriously, those were my options

Seriously, those were my options

A Poem by Maia Jean
"

This sort of came together in my head while I sat in the shower after a long session in the sauna. I was so dizzy.

"

The mouths of kind-hearted fools

shout to me,

holding my head that I might

touch the grass outside of a maze with

my bare feet.

"It's you,

you're the only one.

Kind and beautiful apple of my eye shining light fire without wood bloodless heart"

A hand on my mouth hides a smile

as they speak of reality.

The fingers of cruel adversaries

press my lips,

bruising my mouth that I might

love all people just as they have shown

love to me.

"It's you,

you're the only one.

Welcome to the future you're hateful allow everything sorry we don't allow you"

A hand on my face hides a black eye

as they speak of tolerance.

The vast maw of the void

roars at me,

filling my ears that I might

be unable to stop listening to all

the nothing.

"It's you,

you're the only one.

It's all in your head you are everything you are nothing make love not sense"

A hand on my forehead

isn't really anything all that dramatic, it's just a gesture expressing my disdain.

The hands of a lover

hold my heart,

completing my search that I might

find satisfaction and peace

in Him.

"It's you,

you're the only one.

I love you you're wonderful let's have adventures I would do anything for you"

A hand on my mouth

because the words came out so quickly.
